This role is to support the installation, build, maintenance and operation of the clients test facilities. Duties: To manage the cabling infrastructure and patching within the Staging and Prototyping environments. Manage the AC & DC power cabling, distribution & support systems. Manage the system allocation & space planning within the test facilities, including maintaining & CAD drawings. To manage the configuration of the physical infrastructure & assets. Hands-on working knowledge of Integration techniques for teleco & IP equipment including configuration. Basic fault finding. Knowledge of Fibre, Heliax, 2003 Coax & CAT 6 structured cabling schemes & terminations. Skills Required: Knowledge of Fibre, Heliax, 2003 Coax & CAT 6 structured cabling schemes & terminations. Basic fault finding experience 3 yrs exp similar role. Well disciplined, flexible and determined approach. Self motivated with initiative. Analytical skills to assess design documentation & environment impact. Microsoft Office Suite. Good working understanding of Health and safety practices. NB.
